Tampa Bay Downs 02/06/2021 Race 10

In the G3 Endeavor from Tampa, on the eve of the Super Bowl there, No Mercy Percy was expected to lead...and did. NY Girl for Bill Mott ran closer to that relatively cheap speed, which was a surprise. What was not a surprise is that a short-priced Chad Browner known as Counterparty Risk (not Cantebury Risk as he's nomed in this race call)  won. I was with NY Girl who was shaded wide at head of the stretch, and people general said the horse ran well and had a rough trip, so there you go, double-down next time, punter. Had NY Girl in an exacta with Margaret's Joy (on the inside throughout). My exacta came in 2 and 3 (Is this a theme?) Margaret's Joy came up, saved ground - could maybe score better against a worse bunch. Lesson: If you can't include a short priced Brown horse, pass or die.- B.B.
